Mrs. Chantelle Alicea

(786) 657-5689 Mrs Chantelle Alicea has taught at PACE for two years teaching Entrepreneurship, Personal Finances, American Government, and Economics. She has a Bachelor's in Marketing and a passion to teach useful skills that will better our students' future. She was blessed with 6 beautiful children and she has homeschooled them since 2020. She is looking forward to teaching at PACE this year.

 

Mrs. Catherine Braniff

(786) 469-0019 Mrs. Catherine Braniff is a mom of homeschool graduates, whose family enjoys reading aloud, making music, crafting, cooking - and eating - together. They try to combine these interests in making thematic cakes for celebrations, and Catherine has many years of experience in providing decorated treats for family, friends and church events. She has a degree in English Language and Medieval Literature from the University of Durham, England, and maintains her interest in this field in home-study and preparing medieval and Renaissance-themed banquets & crafts.

 

Mrs. Marta Castillo

(786) 314-3767 Mrs.Marta Castillo is a Hand Building Ceramics Instructor with over 20 years experience. She has homeschooled all 4 of her children who have attended PACE and have now graduated and are pursuing their careers. She loves to offer the ceramics class and is looking forward to teaching again at PACE!

 

Mrs. Dyanna Cespedes

(786) 246-3026  Mrs. Dyanna Cespedes has been dedicated to homeschooling for 26 years, successfully graduating two of her children—one with a Bachelor's in Mathematics and the other with a Master's in Accounting—while continuing to homeschool her 14-year-old son. Married to her junior high love for 33 years, she has a long history of working with children, beginning as Supervisor of Children's Church in Princeton, Florida. She has served as Director of the Good Samaritan's Nursery, a certified teacher and coordinator for the Assemblies of God in Missionettes, a VBS coordinator, and a children's church worker. As the current P.A.C.E. President and longtime volunteer coordinator, she has led successful programs such as Canticos, Lil' Farmer's Market, Incredible Edibles, Cooking w/ Literature, Wild Kratts, Introduction to Sports, Adventures in Odyssey, and Le Grand Chefs.

 

Ms. Natalia Cordoba

(786) 593-0586 Ms. Natalia Cordoba graduated from homeschool and PACE in 2022. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s in Graphic Design at FIU. She has been working at pace for 3 years now and is happy to teach another year at PACE.

 

Mrs. Ferchie Covas

(305) 492-5624 Mrs. Covas has graduated her two children, Amanda and Syvan, from homeschooling, but continues to enjoy being a part of the homeschooling community. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and keeps her FL RN license current in case she finds it necessary to return to the nursing field. In the meantime, she loves being a home maker, a wife to Sergio for over 22 years, and a mother for 21 years. She is currently tutoring homeschoolers, and staying involved with various church and community ministries like directing her church’s children and adult choirs and praise team, and leading Life Groups and Bible Study groups. Mr. Syvan Covas

(786) 695-8889 Mr. Covas has been a part of P.A.C.E since he was in Pre-K and is a PACE alumnus. He likes science and art, enjoys crochet, and is currently studying to be in the medical field. He also enjoys learning about different cultures, their food, and Their art. He has earned the title of Master as a 4th Dan (4th degree black belt) in TKD. Mr. Covas has taught at PACE for the past two years and is happy to continue supporting the homeschool community.

 

Mr. Robert Cruz

(305) 454-3264 Mr. Robert R Cruz studied music lessons under Mr. George Llerena for 4 years. He served as part of the worship team at Faith International Fellowship Church for 4 years playing guitar or bass as needed and has played bass for the South Kendall Community Church Youth Group for 2 years, when needed. He has also played guitar for the PACE Promotion Ceremonies from 2019 to 2023.

Mrs. Magela Gonzalez

(786) 704-3812 Mrs. Magela Gonzalez is a mother of four, who has been homeschooling for 10 years. She is a Florida Certified teacher with a Bachelor in Elementary Education. Magela has also been a Sunday School teacher at her church for many years. She is always looking for ways to make learning fun and to point children to their Creator.

Mrs. Beatrice Koubi

(305) 987-2668 Mrs. Beatrice Koubi, is a homeschooling mom of four, has taught hand- sewing, knitting, crochet, geography, art history and world history as well as German at different homeschool enrichment classes (PACE, HOME, PATH and other after school programs) over the past 20 years. Prior she has used knitting and hand sewing with her patients as part of occupational therapy for several years. Her homeschooling philosophy is based on a love for learning and her classes incorporate interactive hands-on activities and cultural mixture of art and history.

 

Mr. Samuel Linero

(786) 376-1694 Samuel Linero has been serving in Next Gen ministry for 11 years and currently oversees the Young Adults ministry at Christ Journey Church, while also being actively involved in the Student Ministry. He holds a B.A. in Christian Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is pursuing an M.Div. in Biblical Counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Passionate about discipleship, Samuel is dedicated to equipping the next generation with a strong biblical foundation and guiding them in their faith journey.

 

Mrs. Rosa Haydee Melendez

(787) 298-6225 Mrs. Rosa H. Meléndez and her family have been dedicated PACE members for over a decade. She served five years as a Board Member and played a key role as Kitchen Coordinator. With an AA in History, Medical Coding, and Billing, she brings a diverse background, including experience as a tour guide in Ponce, PR, a merchandiser at Disney, an assistant manager at Levi’s & Dockers, and a saleswoman for major car dealerships. From 2016 to 2022, she taught Sunday Bible School at Faith International and now serves as Office Communications Coordinator at Buenas Nuevas, Christian Reformed Church. Currently a member of South Kendall Community Church, she is thrilled to embark on her first teaching experience at PACE.

 

 

Mrs. Tricia Munger

(786) 351-6575 Mrs. Tricia Munger, a homeschool mom of 4 boys and a homeschool graduate herself, has a background in music education but has a stronger desire and leading to teach God's Word using the Titus 2 model in the Bible. She has been a girls youth group leader, girls purity retreat leader, and has a homeschool mom retreats ministry. She currently leads our P.A.C.E. Mom's group and P.A.C.E. prayer room.

Mrs. Jessica Nuñez

(305) 746-4279 Mrs. Nuñez has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from FIU. She was an assistant for a year and then a second grade teacher for a year at Christian private school. She has been teaching, leading, and serving in children's/youth ministry at her church for over 20 years. Mrs. Nuñez has been teaching IEW Structure and Style at a homeschool community for the past 3 years and has had the blessing of homeschooling her 3 boys since 2020.

 

Mrs. Ydania Peralta

(786) 449-5659 Mrs. Ydania Peralta, a homeschooling mom of 20+ years, chaplain, and founder/CEO of His Hands and Feet nonprofit, is dedicated to serving her community with love. Married for 35 years, she is a proud wife, mother, mother-in-law, anD grandmother. A longtime member of the PACE community, Ydania has taught drama, crafts, and filmmaking, finding joy in fostering creativity. Her passion for theater stems from watching her daughter perform, and she loves helping students build confidence and self-expression. Outside of teaching, she enjoys journaling, making memories, and watching true stories. Excited to return to PACE, she looks forward to inspiring students on their learning journey!

 

Mr. Gabriel Salstein

(305) 338-4654 Mr. Gabriel Salstein has been playing piano for 11 years, this has allowed him the opportunity to play piano for his church worship band. Learning to play the piano has opened up a whole world of music that he had never known existed and he is excited to share that with his students. He loves music and will do everything to help his students do the same.

 

Mrs. Javiera Salstein

Rooted in her Christian faith, she approaches homeschooling as both a calling and a privilege, aiming to cultivate not just academic excellence, but also strong character and a deep love for God in her children. With a heart for intentional parenting and Christ-centered learning, she weaves biblical principles into daily lessons and life skills. Her journey reflects resilience, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to building a home where faith and knowledge grow hand in hand.

 

Miss Sarai Salstein

(786) 614-4352 Ms. Sarai Salstein has been playing piano for over 11 years. She has been teaching younger students learn and fall in love with music for over 3 years, one year with P.A.C.E. She believes that an understanding and love for music are some of the most important things you can instill in a child.

 

Mrs. Yisel Sanchez

(786) 501-6677 Mrs. Yisel Sanchez holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, combining her love for literature, human behavior, and artistic expression. A homeschool mom, she is passionate about fostering creativity and bringing classic works to life. She believes that both literature and art are powerful tools for understanding the world and oneself. With an engaging and dynamic approach, she strives to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

Mrs. Domenique Tapia

(786) 340-2071 Mrs. Domenique is a PACE Alumni, Florida Certified teacher, been a part of the Mpact Clubs from Kindergarten-12th Grade, and owns her own Photography LLC. She knows how exciting and special it is for kids to earn badges by memorizing scripture, and has been an Honor Rainbow, Daisy, Prim, Star, Friend, and Girls Only, and is excited to share Bible stories with the kids in a fun and achievement based way.

Mr. Jeff Wade

(786) 290-4603 Grandmaster Jeff Wade has been studying martial arts since 1986 and teaching martial arts since 1989. He holds a 7th degree in Taekwondo, a third in Aikido, and has extensive experience in many other styles. He has a masters in music education and is the owner of South Miami Taekwondo.
